Data & accuracy

How we source our data and why you should check with the operator

Data sources

  • Route maps, stop sequences, travel times and fares from milosbuses.com.
  • Coordinates, additional boarding points and road geometry from OpenStreetMap (ODbL).
  • Driving route geometry from the OSRM project.

How the data pipeline works

  1. The scraper fetches official route pages and extracts stop sequences, travel times and fares.
  2. Additional boarding points (e.g. beach-road stops) are snapped from OpenStreetMap onto each route geometry.
  3. OSRM provides driving route geometry; times are interpolated from official travel durations.
  4. The validated dataset is committed to GitHub; Vercel re-deploys. A scheduled workflow re-runs the pipeline three times a week, so a new operator timetable is published within days.

About fares

Fares shown are indicative 2026 values. KTEL raised its prices in 2026 and the official website may lag behind.

Always confirm the current fare at the KTEL office or on the bus before travelling.

Data freshness

  • Last updated: 2026-11-02
  • Season: autumn (2026-10-24 → 2027-05-03)
  • This dataset covers: 19 stops · 2 routes · 20 trips

The official timetable changes several times per year. If the schedule looks wrong, check milosbuses.com or call the KTEL office.
